Department Overview

The Department of Paediatrics and Child Health operates in the Pretoria Academic, Kalafong and Witbank Hospitals for Service, Teaching and Research. We offer consulting and inpatient specialist services in a range of general and sub specialist paediatrics, intensive care and neonatology.
We participate in the undergraduate teaching programme of the School of Medicine. We offer postgraduate training in specialist and sub specialist paediatric medicine. We encourage research and publication in peer-reviewed journals.
